Crisp, cool air.
The second harvest.
A time to honor our ancestors.
Summer comes to an end. Preparation for Winter begins. This is a joyous time of harvest and remembrance.
And these stunning smoke wands have been crafted to assist you in celebration through ritual. Not to mention, they make a lovely Samhain altar adornment.
They are filled with magic from the lands I wander & the ground I tend.
MULLEIN STALKS -- mullein's smoke is believed to banish bad influences within the home, assist us in connecting with the spirits (especially those spirits of our ancestors), and aids in thinning the veil between worlds. I have harvested these stalks from the land near Flagstaff, AZ.
APPLE BRANCHES -- apples hold a deeply magickal significance during Samhain rituals; apple branches are believed to be a key to the land of the Underworld. I have harvested these fallen branches from a long forgotten homestead orchard in the canyons near Sedona, AZ.
BLUE SAGE -- the smoke of blue sage dispels negative energy, calls in abundance, and offers spiritual protection. I have grown this blue sage in my backyard garden.
ROSEMARY -- rosemary supports remembrance; she also offers protection from evil spirits & dispels negative energies. I have grown this rosemary in my backyard garden.
LAVENDER -- lavender's smoke offers us peace & brings balance to our home; it's perfect for honoring the balance of Mabon & that of the Witches' New Year (likewise, I believe its lovely smell attracts & welcomes the good spirits of ancestors). This lavender has been grow on a small family farm in Montana.
PINE -- when burned during equinox & Samhain rituals, pine bestows on us the magick of immortality, protection, and wealth. I have harvested these pinon pine branches from the forest near Sedona, AZ.
YARROW -- the smoke of yarrow enhances our psychic & intuitive abilities especially during the time in which the veil is thin. I have harvested this yarrow from the lands near Flagstaff, AZ
STRAW FLOWER -- straw flower is known as the flower of Samhain; the smoke of straw flower offers protection & marks the transition from one type of life to another. These beauties are from a small organic flower garden in WV.
